We combine thoughtful design, technical expertise, and hands-on project coordination so your home not only looks beautiful but works effortlessly for your life.
You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
Phase 1: Discovery
Understanding your home, your goals, and how you truly live so we can uncover what’s working, what’s not, and what your home needs to support your next chapter.

A 15-minute phone call with AMD discussing your initial thoughts and project needs

A virtual presentation showcasing our process, portfolio, and investment expectations

AMD will meet you at your space for a walkthrough, gathering photos and initial measurements

Review of your full project scope, estimated investment, and AMD design fee proposal
AMD charges a small fee to complete this step. This fee covers the time to pull all this information together and present it to you.

Once the contract is signed, AMD requests the first 50% of the design fee to be paid up front to secure your place in our calendar

Once the contract is signed, AMD will send you a questionnaire to review your current lifestyle, functional needs, and any existing preferences
You walk away with clarity on your investment, your goals, and exactly how we’ll move forward.
Phase 2: Concept
Translating your vision into a cohesive direction so your project begins to take shape visually, functionally, and financially.

During this meeting, we will review your initial mood boards and design concept presentation

We account for two major revisions in our contract, such as full layout changes
Minor changes, such as finish or fixture reelections, are anticipated and will continue to happen throughout the process

After verbal approval is given, we request written approval from you to document the end of this phase

This is a day or two of on-site meetings with contractors to review the design intent and gather bids

Once your general contractor (GC) is selected, they will provide a contract directly for your review and signature
While AMD works collaboratively with your contractor and advocates on your behalf throughout the project, all clients are required to hold a direct contract with their builder

The contract you sign with your chosen builder will outline your estimated budget for the total project.
By signing this agreement, you approve the budget direction in which both AMD and the builder will provide selections.
You gain confidence in both the design direction and the team bringing it to life.
